โ๏ธ The New York Jets Helmet Story
Born as the Titans of New York in 1960 (navy and gold), the franchise became the Jets in 1963 and adopted green and white. The kelly green helmet with the football-shaped JETS logo defined the Namath era and the Super Bowl III upset. After a "Gotham green" modernization in 2019, the team leaned back into its classic 1978โ97 look โ proof that in helmet design, the classics usually win.
