🐆 The Jacksonville Jaguars Helmet Story
Jacksonville has had some of the most adventurous helmets in the modern NFL. After launching in 1995 with a black shell and snarling jaguar head, the team wore a two-tone gold-to-black gradient shell from 2013 to 2017 — the only gradient helmet in league history at the time. The current matte black shell returns to a cleaner look, with gold throwbacks honoring the gradient era.

- The 2013–17 gradient helmet faded from matte black in front to metallic gold in back — unique in NFL history.
- The Jaguars and Panthers both joined the NFL in 1995, the league's first expansion since 1976.
